Fresh off taking home the Milwaukee Film Festival’s Cream City Award, John Roberts’s Lemon is one of three short films we’ll be showing next Mon, Oct 19 at the Central Library. True to the Milwaukee director’s oeuvre, it’s a blunt, expressive tale about overlooked characters on the fringes of our attention. Unsurprisingly, the trailer for Lemon is almost as beautiful as the film itself. Almost.
